Today's article was to concentrate on Dalmatian lace within the larger picture of Croatia. However, I have just discovered a ten minute video on YouTube that is devoted to the subject of Croatian lace which incorporates the Dalmatian area as well.
There seems little point in writing an article when this fascinating video is freely available. The lace examples are astounding as are the numerous women lace makers who carry on the tradition despite dwindling numbers and lack of interest by younger generations.
