Effie and the other girls at London Zoo are all in mourning at present. Yeboah their French man, whom they all adored, died last Thursday. He'd only been with them since November but was an instant hit. He moved over from Nantes to keep them company as they were missing Bobby so much since he'd died in 2008 at the age of 25.Yeaboah died from a diabetes related problem. How can a gorilla suffer from diabetes? At present the zoo keepers are concerned for the girls well being.
There is hope that one of them may be pregnant. I'll keep you posted.
