I received a set for review and already I can see the potential for lots of great notebook pages in our nature journals. We don't always use notebook pages, but sometimes it is the most convenient way to make a journal if you are in a hurry or if you have a child that likes to have a basic idea to get started.

Things you might like to know:

• Many of the plants included in this set will also have sections in the Handbook of Nature Study. You will be able to read about the wildflower, weed, or garden flower and then study it up close using the suggestions in the Handbook. The corresponding notebook page from this set will give your child a variety of choices to use as a tool to remembering their study of the particular flower.
• Each wildflower, weed, or garden flower has a variety of styles of notebook pages to choose from. I think this is a great advantage to families that have children in different age groups. One choice is a large blackline coloring page for younger children. If you have a child that likes to write, there are several choices of lined pages to pick from.
• The variety of subjects is broad enough that you will find many of the plants growing in your local area. If you have a flower that you would like to include that is not listed in the Table of Contents, you can still choose a page from the blank templates that are included in each section of this set of notebook pages.
• Also included in this set is a series of pages that help you learn and label the parts of a flower. These would be helpful in any botanical study you are completing.
